La Esperanza Granada
La Esperanza Granada is an educational nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through access to quality education and holistic youth development. Through its Learning Centers, secondary and university scholarship programs, and educational support initiatives, the organization empowers children and young people in Granada, Nicaragua to build brighter futures and create lasting change within their communities. Since its founding, La Esperanza Granada has impacted hundreds of students by providing opportunities that foster academic growth, personal development, and long-term social mobility.
Education Plus Nicaragua
Education Plus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth in Nicaragua through education, nutrition, and holistic community support. Founded in 2012, the organization serves hundreds of at-risk students from underserved communities by providing access to academic programs, emotional support, recreational spaces, and opportunities for personal growth.
Through its center, Casa de los SueƱos, Education Plus creates a safe and nurturing environment where children receive educational reinforcement, meals, counseling, and values-based mentorship designed to help them overcome the barriers of poverty and inequality. Programs in English, literacy, computer skills, sports, and university preparation equip students with the tools needed to pursue higher education, meaningful careers, and brighter futures.
In communities where educational attainment remains limited, many Education Plus students become the first in their families to complete high school, attend university or trade school, and build pathways toward long-term success and social mobility.
