Canadian Friends of Nicaragua was founded by Canadians who witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education and community development in Nicaragua.
Moved by what local organizations were already achieving with limited resources, we created a formal structure to channel Canadian support — responsibly, transparently, and with lasting impact.
We are a registered non-profit in Canada, authorized to issue official donation receipts for tax purposes.
Our Mission:
To strengthen grassroots organizations in Nicaragua by connecting them with Canadian donors, volunteers, and partners.
Our Vision:
A Nicaragua where every child has access to quality education and every community has the tools to thrive.
